Maxi Zoo HQ
Maxi Zoo is one of Europe’s leading pet care retailers, with a growing network of stores dedicated to helping pet owners provide the very best for their animals. Located in Ballincollig, Co. Cork, this project involved the complete refurbishment of Maxi Zoo’s Irish headquarters, creating a brighter, more contemporary workplace that would better support collaboration, communication and employee wellbeing.

Inside The Project
Furniture And Spaces Delivered With Purpose
As part of the redesign, a number of internal walls were removed to create a more open and connected workspace. To maintain privacy where required while allowing natural light to travel throughout the office, glass partitioning was introduced to define spaces without creating visual barriers.
The previous office featured traditional beech desking and large storage units, which were replaced with contemporary Freeway workstations from The Senator Group, complemented by fabric desk screens that introduced both privacy and vibrant accents of colour. Ergonomic Pluto Plus mesh task chairs were selected to provide enhanced comfort and support throughout the working day.
A standout feature of the project was the inclusion of a high Silta table from Allermuir, creating an informal hub for spontaneous meetings, collaborative work and team interaction. The fit-out also incorporated meeting rooms, canteen facilities and comfortable breakout seating, resulting in a modern, welcoming workplace designed to support the needs of a busy organisation.
