A multi-disciplinary collaboration, delivering successful outcomes

Working alongside the project management team, architects and a wide range of specialist contractors, including electrical, plumbing, health and safety, and decorating professionals, OfficeMaster played an integral role in delivering furniture solutions throughout the facility. Given the highly regulated nature of pharmaceutical environments, extensive collaboration was required throughout the project, with regular on-site meetings to review furniture specifications, fabric selections, steel finishes, warranties, certifications and compliance requirements.

Commercial furniture is not a one-size-fits-all solution, particularly within pharmaceutical, laboratory and cleanroom environments. Different spaces require furniture with specific materials, finishes and performance characteristics to meet hygiene standards, durability requirements and operational needs. By working closely with stakeholders throughout the project, OfficeMaster helped ensure every furniture solution was appropriate for its intended environment while maintaining a consistent aesthetic and user experience across the facility.

Safety was a key focus throughout the Carlow 2 expansion, and OfficeMaster was proud to be recognised by the project management team as a key delivery partner in achieving 2.5 million safe hours worked across the project. The award reflected the commitment of all stakeholders to maintaining the highest standards of safety, coordination and professionalism throughout the development.

The successful delivery of both projects has led to further opportunities to support MSD facilities across Ireland, including locations in Clonmel, Cork, Dublin and Wicklow, strengthening a relationship built on trust, expertise and collaboration.
