Furniture And Spaces Delivered With Purpose

OfficeMaster was appointed to the project through the lead architect, with whom we have successfully collaborated on numerous workplace projects over the years. The architect’s preference for furniture solutions from The Senator Group, combined with OfficeMaster’s long-standing relationship and expertise with the manufacturer, made for a natural partnership throughout the project.

The fit-out included open-plan workstations, ergonomic seating, personal storage, glass partitioning, privacy booths, breakout areas, reception furniture and a range of acoustic solutions designed to support both collaboration and focused work. Particular attention was given to creating a flexible workplace capable of supporting future growth as the centre expanded its technology workforce.

A standout feature of the project is the Collaboration Zone, a dynamic multi-purpose space designed to bring people together. Combining soft seating, integrated AV technology, acoustic screening and high-level touchdown seating, the area supports everything from informal meetings and team discussions to focused individual work. By providing a variety of settings within a single space, the Collaboration Zone encourages interaction, creativity and knowledge sharing while accommodating different working styles throughout the day.

The quality of the design and execution was recognised across the industry when the UPMC Global Technology Operations Centre was nominated for Fit Out Project of the Year 2021 in the Medium Office category, highlighting the success of a workplace created to support innovation, collaboration and future growth.
